About Spring Grove Market Garden

Spring Grove Market Garden is a six acre holding run as a co-op, near Milverton in Somerset. We have had organic certification with the Soil Association since 2004, and our emphasis is on using the most sustainable techniques possible. This includes using permanent beds to improve soil quality; a wide range of mixed cropping, including flowers, for a diverse ecosystem; using recycled cooking oil in our tractor and delivery van; using local materials for our few buildings such as our straw bale barn, and producing our own electricity on site.
