Buying Spring Grove Produce

Demand for Spring Grove produce is very high and most is sold direct to customers via our box scheme and the Farmers’ Market at Minehead on a Friday. Some surpluses go to local shops and pubs, especially cut flowers and our mixed leaf salad which is in high demand.

How Our Box Sceme Works

We deliver weekly boxes to drop-off points in Milverton, Wiveliscombe and Wellington on a Tuesday and a Friday. Three sizes are on offer – small (1 - 2 people), medium (2 – 4 people) and large (4 – 6 people). Boxes are standard, so you can’t order exactly what you want in the box, but we can take account of individual likes and dislikes. So just let us know if you hate carrots but love courgettes, are allergic to tomatoes or have your own runner beans coming out of your ears, and we’ll adjust your boxes accordingly.
The contents of the box will vary according to the season and in the winter and early summer is likely to include bought-in produce to supplement our own. This will always be organic and grown as locally as possible. On the rare occasions that we need to buy a staple from abroad (the UK organic onion crop has failed for the last couple of years, for example), it will never be air freighted and you will be given the choice of replacing it with something else.
